Experience
While experience is not exclusively required for any position aside from the bartender position, most venues prefer it, and it can make your overall shift experience better. Generally, though, as long as you maintain the skills listed above for each position, you will excel.
When submitting your application, you will be asked about your previous work experience. If you do not yet have experience in this industry, that’s totally fine! We would love to be your first introduction to the industry. However, to be able to accept shifts that require experience, you will first need to receive 5 5-star ratings from shifts that don’t require experience. This will need to be done for each position type in which you would like to gain experience.
Hear from our FrontHouz Family
“FrontHouz has given me a chance to get back to what I love. After COVID began, I stopped bartending. Not because I wanted to, but because I needed job security more than ever. I wanted to continue bartending, but there was no way for me to do that without working full-time at one place. With FrontHouz, I have been able to bartend on the weekends and have fun while earning great money at the same time!”

“I hated my old 9-to-5, so I started driving for Uber. But then I found that driving for eight hours a day drained me more than my desk job did. And then I heard about FrontHouz. I had never served before, but it sounded fun, and the money was much more promising than the other gigs out there. I started out as a food runner to really get the feel for the job and watch what my experienced coworkers would do. Then, I picked up a serving shift, and it was seamless. I have so much fun working now, and I still have the flexibility that I had when I drove for Uber.”
